The two-CD collection contains a thorough overview of Esa Pakarinen's musical production. The collection moves irresistibly through decades and styles.

The more hilarious side of the song selection is represented by the rillumarei hits of the 1950s (such as Severi Suhonen's jenkka, Lentävä kalakukko & Hullu hanuri), the immortal conversational and song records written by Reino Helismaa (e.g. Severi Suhonen at sea & Severi Suhonen in America) and the Pakarock songs that appeared in the mid-1970s the raucous rock'n'roll parodies of the albums (Crazy man crazy & Rock has come to stay, etc.). Esa Pakarinen's more serious side comes out stylishly, e.g. Suhmura's Santra in Terho Könönen's wistful waltz and Kalle Väänänen's dialect poems composed by Pakarinen in the 1980s. Irwin Goodman, Eugen Malmstén, Esko "Eemeli" Toivonen and the master's own son, Esa Pakarinen Jr., sing duets with Pakarinen and offer their own captivating additions to the collection.

The songs in the collection have been digitized, restored and mastered from the original clay discs and master tapes. The booklet contains the detailed musician information of the songs and the lyrics written by Maarit Niiniluoto.

The double album will be released on February 9. 2011.
